联合包裹服务（UPS）近两年来首次恢复销售和利润增长，得益于业务量增加、包裹利润提高以及劳动力成本持稳。

　　该公司表示第三季度业绩主要受到美国日均货运量增长6.5%以及美国邮政航空货运量增加的推动。调整后每股收益为1.76美元，比分析师的预期高出13美分。

　　“我们认为在经历了一年多的失误和干扰后，第三季度的强劲表现足以说服投资者相信UPS的故事，”杰富瑞分析师Stephanie Moore在研报中说。

　　UPS股价一度上涨10%，创2022年2月以来最大单日涨幅。相较标普500指数年迄今22%的涨幅，UPS的同期跌幅缩小至9%。竞争对手联邦快递上涨3%。

　　周四的财报标志着调整后每股收益在连续六个季度下降后首次实现同比增长。自疫情高点回落以来，包裹行业一直受到需求疲软的压力。与此同时，厌倦了通货膨胀的消费者开始转向更便宜的运输方式，挤压了运输公司的利润。
