DroneShield (ASX:DRO) expects to exceed its 2023 revenue of AU$54.1 million to achieve a new record high in 2024, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
While revenue for the first three-quarters of 2024, AU$31.1 million, is lower than the year-ago figure of AU$39 million, there remains an additional AU$24.1 million in revenue from existing orders expected to be recorded for the fourth quarter, the filing said.
This will boost revenue to AU$55.2 million and is in addition to any further new orders to be received and delivered before the end of 2024, the filing added.
DroneShield said it is "well placed" to deliver orders at short notice prior to the end of the year, citing its existing inventory of AU$240 million, as per the filing.
