Marriott International (MAR) said Monday it has opened its 500th property in the Caribbean and Latin America region with the recent launch of The Almare luxury resort in Mexico.
Marriott said it has nearly doubled the number of properties it runs throughout the region over the past three years, growing from around 300 locations since 2021.
Two more luxury properties are slated to open in Mexico and the Dominican Republic in Q1 and Q2 of 2025, respectively, the company said.
