CSB Bank (NSE:CSBBANK, BOM:542867) saw a marginal rise in its consolidated net profit to 1.38 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 against 1.33 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share came in at 7.98 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 7.68 rupees, according to a filing to the stock exchanges on Thursday.
Interest earned by the lender in fiscal Q2 also increased to 8.65 billion rupees from 6.87 billion rupees a year earlier.
Shares of the company were down nearly 3% in recent trade.
