Rimfire Pacific Mining Establishes Scandium Resource of New South Wales Deposits

Rimfire Pacific Mining (ASX:RIM) established the mineral resource estimate for the Murga North and Melrose deposits both located in New South Wales, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

Murga North's inferred resource stands at 21 million tonnes of material at 125 parts per million (ppm) scandium for 4,050 tonnes of scandium oxide, the filing said.

Melrose's indicated and inferred resource stands at 3 million tonnes of material at 240 ppm scandium for 1,120 tonnes of scandium oxide, the filing added.

Shares of the mining firm inched up almost 2% in recent Friday trade.
