智通财经APP获悉，艾伯维(ABBV.US)已同意以14亿美元现金收购专注于神经科学的生物技术公司Aliada Therapeutics的所有未偿股权。
该交易预计将于2024年第四季度完成，但须经监管部门批准和其他惯例成交条件。
该交易将使艾伯维能够利用Aliada的新型血脑屏障穿透技术来加强神经科学领域的发现和开发工作。
Aliada的主要候选药物ALIA-1758是一种抗焦谷氨酸淀粉样蛋白β(3pE-Aβ)抗体，是治疗阿尔茨海默病的潜在同类最佳疗法。该公司还在其他神经系统疾病方面开展项目。
艾伯维执行副总裁、研发和首席科学官Roopal Thakkar医学博士表示：“此次收购使我们能够立即推进ALIA-1758，这是一种潜在的同类最佳阿尔茨海默病疾病改善疗法。此外，Aliada的新型BBB-crossing技术加强了我们的研发能力，以加速神经系统疾病和其他疾病的下一代疗法的开发，在这些疾病中，增强向中枢神经系统输送治疗药物是有益的。”
