Hubbell Raises Quarterly Dividend by 8.2% to $1.32

Hubbell's board has raised the utility and electrical solutions maker's quarterly dividend by 8.2%, to $1.32 from $1.22.

The new payout, equal to $5.28 a year, represents an annual yield of about 1.18% based on Friday's trading price of $446.60, up from 1.09%.

The Shelton, Conn., company said the increased dividend is payable Dec. 16 to shareholders of record Nov. 29.
