据悉，Glow 运营着一个由美国和印度的太阳能农场组成的去中心化物理基础设施网络（DePIN）。为了鼓励其网络上的农场使用清洁能源，创始人设计了一个基于补贴和代币激励模式的经济模式。
Glow 通过金融家的资金来支付太阳能发电厂的启动和运营成本，从而帮助陷入困境的太阳能发电厂。发电厂必须将其电力收入投入激励池，以分配给其他太阳能发电厂。为了奖励这些太阳能发电场的工作，项目方会对每个发电场进行定期审计，以评估和核实它们的电力产出和 Glow 碳信用额度。原生代币 GLW 用于购买碳信用额，然后这些代币被退出流通，从而影响价格并为 Glow 生态系统带来价值。
