　　康卡斯特总裁迈克-卡瓦纳（Mike Cavanagh）周四表示，康卡斯特正在探索拆分其有线电视网络业务。

　　在公司与投资者举行的第三季度财报电话会议上，卡瓦纳表示，该公司正在探索创建“一家由我们的股东拥有、并由我们强大的有线电视网络组合组成的、新的资本充足的公司”。

　　他补充说，可能的分离将不包括广播网络NBC或流媒体服务Peacock。

　　卡瓦纳是在数百万客户继续抛弃传统的付费电视捆绑包、转而支持流媒体之际发表上述言论的。

　　康卡斯特一直在寻求强化其流媒体服务Peacock，该服务在第三季度独家播出了巴黎夏季奥运会赛事，从而得到了提升。
