BlockBeats 消息，10 月 31 日，Sky（原 MakerDAO）创始人 Rune Christensen 发文称，正计划提出附加提案，将核心代币（无论结果是 MKR 还是 SKY）更改为严格的通缩代币经济学。在正常情况下将不再发行代币，并且随着销毁引擎永久地将代币从流通中移除，总供应量只会随着时间的推移而下降。唯一的例外是抵押品短缺的情况，这会导致 USDS 和 DAI 面临破产风险。这是原始的 MKR 代币经济学。同时，除了严格的通缩购买和销毁代币经济学之外，核心代币（MKR 或 SKY）仍然可以通过激活获得星形代币奖励，例如 Spark SPK。
其进一步表示，如果投票结果是保留 Sky 品牌，该提案将全力推动整个生态系统从 MKR 过渡到 SKY，MKR 将重命名为 Wrapped 24k Sky 代币 (SKY24K)；如果重新定位 Maker 品牌的投票获胜，Sky 将转变为类似于 Spark 的 Maker Star。当前的 SKY 代币将更改为 OLD_SKY，以固定的 1:24000 比率永久兑换回 MKR。
