BlockBeats 消息，10 月 31 日，据彭博社报道，纽约联邦法院被法官 Lewis A·Kaplan 判决前 FTX 工程总监 Nishad Singh 免于入狱，因其在加密交易所 FTX 涉及的数十亿美元欺诈案中的角色。Singh 作为关键证人，其证词有助于将欺诈案的主谋、FTX 创始人 SBF 定罪。
Singh 的律师试图将他与 Gary Wang 和 Caroline Ellison 区别开来，辩称他不是本案核心阴谋的一部分。Singh 在 2022 年 9 月——FTX 崩塌前两个月——首次得知姊妹对冲基金 Alameda Research 一直在挪用数十亿美元的客户资金。Kaplan 法官也同意此观点，并表示：“你的情况与 Caroline Ellison 的情况不同，她多年来一直知道发生了什么。她因合作而获得了很多认可，但你更值得。”。Singh 还同意没收他在华盛顿州的房产、Anthropic PBC 的股份和其他加密资产。
