长实(01113.HK) 联同长和(00001.HK) 透过长和成员公司长江生命科技(00775.HK) ，合称“长江集团”，进军再生农业范畴，主要投资于储存碳之碳封存项目。
长实及长和副董事总经理，以及长江生命科技总裁甘庆林表示，长江集团已收购澳洲超过35万公顷农业用地，相当于约3.5倍香港土地总面积的田园租约及相关权利，作碳封存用途。
长江生命科技副主席及执行董事余英才表示，长江集团的再生农业组合现时采用人工诱导再生方法(HIR)进行碳封存。HIR是澳洲洁净能源监管局所认可的碳封存方法之一，利用控制放牧等土地管理措施进行原生植物品种及森林再生。长江集团现时的再生农业组合预计可封存相当于约100万吨的二氧化碳。(ha/u)(港股报价延迟最少十五分钟。沽空资料截至 2024-10-30 12:25。)
