National Energy Services Reunited (NESR) said Tuesday it has bought a minority stake in Salttech, a Dutch provider of thermal desalination technology.
Financial details weren't disclosed.
The cash-funded acquisition follows the deployment of Salttech's pilot thermal desalination projects in the Middle East and North Africa region, the company said, adding that the collaboration aims to expand circular water technology in Saudi Arabia and other key countries.
National Energy Services Reunited said it will have the exclusive option to acquire more shares and become the majority owner of Salttech in the future.
