惠普将向诺基亚支付专利使用费，结束视频技术相关诉讼
IT之家 10 月 30 日消息，诺基亚与惠普 10 月 29 日宣布签署了一项多年专利授权协议，允许惠普公司在其设备中使用诺基亚的视频技术。
诺基亚一年前曾表示，已在美国对惠普提起法律诉讼，指控惠普未经授权使用诺基亚专利的视频相关技术，但本周二宣布结束了双方之间的所有诉讼。
诺基亚表示，根据协议，惠普将向诺基亚支付专利使用费。根据双方的约定，协议条款仍然保密。
诺基亚拥有多项视频和多媒体技术开发领域技术，包括视频压缩、内容交付、内容推荐以及与硬件相关的各个方面。在过去的 25 年里，诺基亚创造了近 5000 项发明。自 2000 年以来，诺基亚在研发方面投入了约 1500 亿欧元（IT之家备注：当前约 1.16 万亿元人民币），其中 2023 年超过 40 亿欧元（当前约 308.63 亿元人民币），用于包括蜂窝和多媒体在内的尖端技术。
