Net sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were $1.86 billion, up from $1.82 billion a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.84 billion.
For Q4, the company said it expects earnings of $0.28 to $0.44 per share on net sales of $1.6 billion to $1.7 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $0.55 and $1.84 billion, respectively.
The company's shares dropped past 10% in recent after-hours activity.
