Amphenol (APH) said Monday that it is offering additional 5.050% senior notes due 2027 following the initial issuance of $450 million notes issued in April.

The new notes will have the same terms as existing ones, according to the company.

Amphenol said it plans to use the proceeds for cash consideration of CommScope's acquisition, deal-related expenses and fees, and general corporate purposes.

Amphenol is also selling $1.5 billion of investment-grade bonds in three parts, Bloomberg reported, citing a person familiar with the matter.

The company did not immediately respond to MT Newswires about the $1.5 billion offering.
