Axis Capital Holdings (NYSE:AXS) reported quarterly earnings of $2.04 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $2.55 by 20 percent. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.610 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.356 billion by 18.75 percent. This is a 12.27 percent increase over sales of $1.434 billion the same period last year.
