Planet Fitness (PLNT) said Wednesday it appointed Jay Stasz as chief financial officer, starting Nov. 15.
Stasz will join the company on Nov. 4 and will work with the current CFO, Tom Fitzgerald, until he takes over. Fitzgerald will continue to be employed by the company until Dec. 31 to help with the transition, and will act as a consultant until March 31, 2025.
Stasz most recently acted as CFO at Savers Value Village, a for-profit thrift operator in the US and Canada, the company added.
Shares of Planet Fitness fell 0.6% in recent trading.
