中国金石(01380.HK) 公布，于昨日(29日)接获AOF I律师发出的违约事件通知。于本月4日有关转换总面值为125万元的可换股票据的换股通知送达后，公司未能于本月9日或之前向AOF I交付所要求的换股股份，且于违约通知日期仍未向AOF I交付所要求的换股股份。
据违约通知，中国金石须按本金额之118%赎回未偿还可换股票据225万元，合计265.5万元，以及截至本月28日所有到期应付但尚未付之应计利息2.12万元。另外，若中国金石未能于本周五(11月1日)或之前支付相关款项，AOF I将对其提起法律诉讼。
中国金石表示，目前正在评估该争议对集团财务状况及营运的影响。(js/k)
