Capstone Copper (ASX:CSC) reported earnings per share of $0.02 for the three months ended Sept. 30, compared with a loss of $0.05 in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected EPS of $0.05.
Net income attributable to shareholders for the third quarter was $12.5 million, compared with a net loss of $32.9 million.
Revenue grew to $419.4 million from $322.2 million. The consensus estimate compiled by Visible Alpha was $431.6 million.
The mining company expects its 2024 consolidated production to finish at the low end of its guidance range of 190,000 to 220,000 tonnes of copper. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expect production of 189,800 tonnes.
