Shunfeng International Clean Energy (HKG:1165) (SFCE) needs to pay 330 million yuan owed to two corporate bonds, including interest, after enforcement action by Changzhou Intermediate People's Court, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Previously, the Shanghai Arbitration Commission awarded the amount to two claimants for unpaid debt, which the company did not comply with. Due to the failure, the court has ordered the seizure of property and assets.
Due to non-compliance, the court has issued multiple enforcement notices mandating property freezes and asset seizures to satisfy outstanding debts. The court can apply further sanctions if the payments are not made.
