西门子董事会成员Cedrik Neike表示，在花费106亿美元收购美国工业软件公司Altair之后，西门子有足够的资金进行进一步的软件收购。

　　“这绝对不是我们在软件领域的最后一次收购，”Neike周五表示，“我们有足够的资金进行更多的交易，软件业务是增长和盈利的重要驱动力。”

　　Altair收购交易是西门子历史上第二大交易，这笔交易巩固了西门子在工业软件市场中的地位。

　　“这是一个钻石般的独特机会，”Neike 说，“工业软件市场，尤其是在仿真领域，正处于强势整合阶段。在仿真领域，Altair在美国具有领先地位，而我们在亚洲和欧洲也很发达。我们可以通过交叉销售来提升水平。”
