格隆汇11月1日｜据英国金融时报，穆迪周五警告称，英国财政大臣里夫斯在修改英国财政规则后增加借款的计划，对公共财政构成了“额外挑战”。穆迪表示，在对工党政府首份预算案的评估中，里夫斯只给自己留下了有限的缓冲，以吸收意外的冲击，同时仍能符合她的新财政规定。英财政大臣里夫斯周三公布了一项预算，将税收提高了400多亿英镑，同时增加了借贷，为增加日常支出和政府投资提供资金。穆迪表示：“在我们看来，借款的增加将对本已艰难的财政整顿前景构成额外挑战。预算案对改善英国未来几年的经济增长几乎没有帮助。”
