消息面上，11月6日，美国共和党总统候选人特朗普宣布在2024年总统选举中获胜。国泰君安指出，美国大选落地，特朗普上台可能进一步提升半导体领域摩擦，半导体自主可控势在必行。中芯国际作为中国大陆技术最先进、规模最大、配套服务最完善的专业晶圆代工企业，具有国内最先进FinFET技术节点，中芯国际自主可控要求将进一步提升。
交银国际指出，预测中芯国际2024/25年毛利率为16.8%及20%，略高于市场一致预期0.2及0.5个百分点。公司从2023年第一季开始再建总产能34万片每月的12英寸晶圆厂的计划或稳步推进，不受行业周期影响。前期前置的资本支出或在2025/26年回归到相对正常水平。公司产能利用率或从2023年第一季低点的68.1%稳定回升至2024年的84.7%。而公司毛利率在2024年触底后也或在2025年下半年之后随着资本开支前置影响的消退进一步上升。
