Strategic Education Shares Slightly Lower Following Q3 Results

Strategic Education (STRA) shares were slightly lower in recent Thursday trading after the education services company posted Q3 results.

The company reported Q3 adjusted earnings of $1.16 per diluted share, up from $0.97 a year earlier.

Three analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.80.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $306.0 million, up from $285.9 million a year earlier.

Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $301.5 million.

The company maintained its quarterly dividend of $0.60 per share, payable on Dec. 9 to shareholders of record on Dec. 2.
