Mayne Pharma (ASX:MYX) confirmed media speculation that it has appointed Jefferies Australia as its financial adviser, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Jefferies Australia will support the pharmaceutical firm in evaluating strategies to maximize shareholder value, the filing said.
Mayne Pharma's shares closed up more than 15% Friday.
