Cameco (CCJ) reported Thursday that it swung to a Q3 adjusted loss of 0.01 Canadian dollar ($0.007) per diluted share from an adjusted profit of CA$0.32 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected CA$0.25.
Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was CA$721 million, up from CA$575 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected CA$751.8 million.
The company said it expects 2024 revenue of CA$3.01 billion to CA$3.16 billion, compared with the prior outlook of CA$2.85 billion to CA$3 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $3.02 billion.
