凌晨美联储FOMC以12-0的比例一致通过利率决定，降息25BP至4.50%-4.75%，针对通胀前景，放弃了“更有信心”的表述，转变为“取得了进展”。 在随后的新闻发布会上，鲍威尔表示将根据经济情况加快或放慢降息步伐，加息不在计划之中。
美联储宣布降息25个基点、美联储主席鲍威尔新闻发布会结束后，现货黄金刷新日高至2710.45美元/盎司。
此外，现货白银涨2.73%，报32.0277美元/盎司。COMEX黄金期货涨1.45%，报2715.00美元/盎司。COMEX白银期货涨2.73%，报32.115美元/盎司。COMEX铜期货涨4.50%，报4.4370美元/磅。
除此之外，CME“美联储观察”最新数据显示，12月维持当前利率不变的概率为29%，累计降息25个基点的概率为71%，到明年1月累计降息25个基点的概率为53%，累计降息50个基点的概率为30.4%。
光大期货研究所吴爱华认为，综合而言，11月符合预期降息25基点，鲍威尔表态偏鸽，黄金短期再迎支撑。
