智通财经APP获悉，阿斯利康(AZN.US)宣布，Tezspire(tezepelumab)针对慢性鼻窦炎伴鼻息肉(CRSwNP)患者的III期WAYPOINT研究达到了共同主要终点。结果显示，Tezepelumab治疗组显示出具有统计学意义和临床意义的鼻息肉减小和鼻塞症状减轻。
公开资料显示，Tezepelumab是阿斯利康与安进共同开发的一款first-in-class单克隆抗体，可抑制胸腺基质淋巴细胞生成素(TSLP)。TSLP是一种关键的上皮细胞因子，位于多种炎症级联反应的上游，与哮喘、CRSwNP、慢性阻塞性肺疾病(COPD)、嗜酸性食管炎(EoE)等疾病相关。Tezspire可阻断TSLP，从而避免免疫细胞释放促炎细胞因子，起到治疗相关疾病的效果。
据悉，Tezepelumab目前已在美国获批用于治疗重度哮喘，该药在中国正在开展III期临床研究。除了CRSwNP，Tezepelumab还被开发用于其他潜在适应症，包括COPD和EoE。
