Himatsingka Seide (NSE:HIMATSEIDE, BOM:514043) invested an additional 57.2 million Indian rupees in associate AMP Energy C&I Twenty Four, in which it holds a 47.3% stake.
The textile company acquired 5,724,900 equity shares of 10 rupees each in renewable energy firm AMP Energy C&I Twenty Four, according to a filing to the stock exchanges on Thursday.
Through this, Himatsingka proposes to procure energy to fulfill part of the power requirements of the company's plants.
