Hangzhou Hota M&E Holdings' (SHE:001225) unit, Hangzhou Hetai Conveying Equipment, received an invention patent certificate from the China National Intellectual Property Administration for its chain breaking test machine.
The device is used to test the strength of chains in equipments, the Chinese conveying equipment manufacturer said in a Wednesday filing on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
The patent application date was April 16, 2016, and the authorization announcement date was Nov. 1 this year.
The company's shares fell 2% in recent trade.
