Unity Software Q3 Loss Narrows, Revenue Falls; Appoints Jarrod Yahes CFO

Unity Software (U) reported a Q3 loss Thursday of $0.31 per diluted share, narrower than a loss of $0.32 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $0.39.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $446.5 million, compared with $544.2 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $428.2 million.

The company raised the full-year revenue guidance for its strategic portfolio to $1.70 billion to $1.71 billion from $1.68 billion to $1.69 billion previously.

Separately, the company appointed Jarrod Yahes chief financial officer, effective Jan. 1.

Before the appointment, Yahes served as CFO of Shutterstock for the past five years.
