Construction materials is the best performer in November since 1990

Construction materials (NYSEARCA:PKB), (ITB), (PAVE) has been the best performing S&P 500 (SP500) industry between November and January, according to Oppenheimer.

In a note, analysts said that the industry was the best performer since 1990, averaging a 5.4% relative gain between November and January, and a 3.9% relative gain in November.

Semiconductors and semi equipment (SMH), (SOXX), (XSD) followed the list of highest average performance between November and January at 4.8%.
