China Energy Engineering's (HKG:3996, SHA:601868) subsidiary China Electric Power Engineering Consulting Group Southwest Electric Power Design Institute Engineering won the bid for Huainan Luohe Power Plant phase 4, two 1000 megawatt coal power EPC project.
The winning bid amounted to 6.66 billion yuan and the construction period for the project is set at 26 months, a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The bid winner has yet to enter into a formal contract with the project owner.
The state-owned energy conglomerate's shares closed nearly 3% higher on Tuesday.
