BorgWarner (BWA) said Thursday it has appointed Chief Operating Officer Joseph Fadool as chief executive officer and a board member, starting Feb. 6.
Current CEO Frederic Lissalde will retire on that date but remain in an advisory role until Aug. 30, the company said.
BorgWarner shares were up 2% in recent trading.
