消息面上，11月5日晚，，深圳市公安局福田分局在其官方微信公众号“福田警察”上发布了情况通报，其内容显示：“‘鼎益丰’及其关联公司发行虚假理财产品和‘DDO数字期权’（属于‘空气币’），从事非法活动，已涉嫌犯罪。为依法打击犯罪，维护投资人合法权益，公安机关已对隋某义、马某秋等人以涉嫌集资诈骗等犯罪依法采取刑事强制措施。”
近年来，深圳市地方金融管理局已多次发布与鼎益丰业务相关的风险提示。今年3月28日，深圳处非办在深圳市地方金融管理局发文称，鼎益丰国际资产管理集团有限公司在境内宣传发行一款DDO数字期权，招揽群众认购投资。该行为本质上为虚拟货币的发行、交易行为，属非法金融活动。10月25日，香港证监会发布消息称，已取得法庭命令，冻结了涉嫌操纵鼎益丰股份人士的63.5亿港元资产。
