Singapore Shipping's (SGX:S19) profit attributable to owners was up 72% to $7.7 million in the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30, form $4.5 million a year ago, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Thursday.
Earnings per share came in at $0.0192, compared with $0.0111 in the year-ago period.
Revenue for the period rose 10.6% year over year to $25.3 million from $22.9 million, mainly due to strong growth in the agency and logistics department.
