Bauhaus International (HKG:0483) forecasts it will swing to a net loss of about HK$1 million to HK$3 million in the half-year ended Sept. 30 from a net profit of HK$3.5 million in the year-ago period.
The apparel company foresees the loss due to a 4.9% fall in retail sales revenue to HK$82.5 million from HK$86.8 million a year earlier, and a decrease in the gross margin to 73.4% from 74.4%, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
The company plans to release interim results on or before Nov. 29.
