消息面上，华晨中国发布公告，公司执行董事及行政总裁张悦先生已获委任为董事会主席；及授权代表；及执行董事张巍先生已获委任为董事会辖下子公司高管任命委员会成员，由2024年11月4日起生效。
大摩发表报告指，自前主席于9月11日辞任后，华晨股价显著波动。该行相信新主席的委任将在一定程度上稳定市场对华晨业务的预期。大摩表示，虽然华晨在有关进一步派息时间表的资讯暂时尚未明朗，但考虑到每股约2.1元的手头现金净额，其中每股1.8元可能可派发给股东，以及近几个月宝马汽车在中国的销售有所回升，该行认为华晨的风险回报似乎具吸引力。另一方面，市场应密切留意新主席上任后的新措施。
