Territorial Bancorp (TBNK) said Wednesday its shareholders approved the acquisition by Hope Bancorp (HOPE).
The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
Hope Bancorp shares rose 15% in recent Wednesday trading, and Territorial Bancorp climbed 9.9%.
