康宁公司涉嫌滥用市场主导地位，手机玻璃业务遭欧盟反垄断调查
IT之家 11 月 6 日消息，据彭博社报道，康宁公司因涉嫌滥用其市场主导地位，排挤抗摔智能手机屏幕的竞争对手，面临欧盟的反垄断调查。
欧盟委员会于当地时间周三（ 11 月 6 日）表示，担心康宁可能通过与手机制造商签订独家协议来扭曲竞争。欧盟担心这些协议可能会将竞争对手的玻璃生产商排除在大部分市场之外。
IT之家获悉，欧盟竞争事务专员玛格丽特・维斯塔格（Margrethe Vestager）在一份声明中表示：
我们正在调查主要生产这种特殊玻璃的康宁公司，是否试图排挤竞争对手的玻璃生产商，从而剥夺消费者获得更便宜且更耐摔玻璃的机会。
报道称康宁仍有机会消除委员会的担忧，但最终可能面临高达全球年收入 10% 的巨额罚款。
