Credit Agricole Divisional Trends Look Mixed -- Market Talk

0800 GMT - Credit Agricole's results were in line with expectations at the pretax level, RBC Capital Markets says in a research note. Beats in its corporate bank and French retail offset misses elsewhere, they say after the French bank posted third-quarter print. The lender posted softer results in its international retail bank and insurance divisions but its net profit still beat expectations. The group still expects to make more than 6 billion euros in net profit, which compares with consensus's 6.4 billion euros estimate. Credit Agricole is expected to announce fresh targets for 2027 or 2028 next year, analyst Anke Reingen and associate Matthew Russell write. (elena.vardon@wsj.com)
