BUZZ-Planet Fitness gains after Q3 earnings beat

** Shares of Planet Fitness PLNT.N rise ~11% to $93.84 on Thurs after the gym operator reported quarterly results that beat analyst expectations

** PLNT is on track for highest close since Nov. 2021 and biggest daily pct gain since Nov. 2023

** Earlier on Thurs, PLNT reported rev rose ~5% to $292.25 mln and EPS rose ~8% to 64 cents; analysts had expected $285.25 mln and 58 cents, per LSEG data

** PLNT also announced the appointment of Jay Stasz as CFO, effective Nov. 15

** Among the 18 analysts who cover PLNT, median PT is $90 and avg rating is "buy", per LSEG data

** PLNT is up ~28% YTD with today's move
