Big Bank Stocks Soar on Deregulation Expectations

Shares of the biggest US banks soared Wednesday morning, as investors apparently anticipate that Donald Trump will follow through on his campaign promises to lower corporate taxes and reduce regulations once he is sworn in as president.

The stock prices of JPMorgan Chase (JPM) was up 8.6%, Bank of America (BAC) rose nearly 6%, Citigroup (C) climbed nearly 8% and Wells Fargo (WFC) and Goldman Sachs (GS) were up past 10%.
