On a per-share basis, the El Segundo, California-based company said it had net income of 37 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 61 cents per share.
The precious metals trading company posted revenue of $2.72 billion in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $2.66 billion.
A-Mark shares have climbed 24% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $37.63, an increase of 38% in the last 12 months.
