SSR Mining (ASX:SSR) logged an attributable net income of $10.6 million, or $0.05 per share, in the third quarter, down from $15.2 million, or $0.07 per share, a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected a net income of $18.4 million, or $0.09 per share.
Revenue for the three months ended Sept. 30 was $257.4 million, down from $385.4 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected $224 million.
The mining firm produced 97,429 ounces during the quarter, down from 192,195 ounces a year earlier. For 2024, it expects gold equivalent production of 155,000 to 175,000 ounces from Marigold; 65,000 to 70,000 ounces from Seabee; and 120,000 to 125,000 from Puna.
The company's shares were down almost 2% in recent Thursday trade.
