NetEase's (HKG:9999) former staff were charged with corruption during their time at the Chinese gaming company, Yicai Global reported Friday, citing an internal memo.
Among those charged were former e-sports chief Xiang Liang and distribution and marketing chief Jin Yuchen, the report said.
A number of marketing executives were also taken for questioning, Yicai said, citing an unnamed source.
The corruption allegedly took place in their respective departments, the report said.
NetEase also blacklisted 27 firms from transacting with them following the fraud allegations, the report said.
