Amerant Bancorp (AMTB) said Friday its unit Amerant Bank sold banking operations and six branches in Houston, Texas, to MidFirst Bank.
The transaction closed Friday. MidFirst acquired $573.9 million in deposits and $479.2 million in loans, according to Amerant.
