格隆汇11月9日｜知情人士称，新加坡星展集团正在探索进军马来西亚，可能收购其银行股权，其中包括马来西亚资产规模最小的银行之一。知情人士称，星展集团正在探索收购新加坡国有投资者淡马锡持有的马来西亚联合银行（Alliance Bank Malaysia Bhd）29.1%的股份，目前这部分股份的价值约为4.6亿美元。知情人士说，进军马来西亚的其他选择还包括购买科威特金融公司在马来西亚的零售银行资产，价值超过5亿美元，这些资产已被挂牌出售。
