智通财经APP获悉，澳大利亚电池制造商Novonix(NVX.US)周一表示，已与汽车制造商Stellantis(STLA.US)签署了一份具有约束力的承购协议，为其在北美的电池制造合作伙伴提供高性能合成石墨材料。作为协议的一部分，该公司将在2026年至2031年期间，从其位于田纳西州查塔努加河畔的工厂向Stellantis在北美的电池制造合作伙伴提供至少86250公吨的合成石墨，达到115,000公吨的目标量。
Novonix首席执行官Chris Burns表示：“该合同将剩余的可用产量分配到我们的Riverside工厂，部分产量将在我们计划的绿地工厂生产。”
这家澳大利亚公司还表示，它正在美国东南部建设一个新的生产设施，该设施的初始产能为每年3万吨，并计划将该设施扩大到每年7.5万吨。
